Get Fitted for Endurance

Good morning,

Thank you for the great turn out this past week. You are all already so much faster after doing all those speed drills. The Yoga DVD was a good way to sneak in stretching and flexibility after a ride. Leslie gave us some additional pointers on our poses and stretches to work on at home.

This week will be run differently than we've done before. The Fit Clinic will start at 11:15 am and end by 12:30 pm. We will do spin from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm.

There is still room to RSVP for the Fit Clinic. Just send me an email. I will take them until Friday at 4 pm.

During spin class this week, we will work out building our endurance. This is important because it helps us out on those "all day rides" we are all looking forward to this summer.

Enjoy your week!!

Hi Andrea -
Well, I went out on a day climb today. I started out waaay slow (nothing abnormal for me), but it was weird, at the same time my legs felt like "no power down here" I went faster up than I have on prior attempts (the side note on this I still get passed by everyone on the climb). Anyways, I noticed my tank was deeper, my recovery significantly better, and I cranked listening to Nightwish (started off slow on Rasputina, but definately has grown on me). I blaazed on the descent .. even had a car pull over for me (ok, the dude was smoking a pipe and driving a Ford Fairlane), but felt that the speed workouts from this week were in my legs!
My feet and knee are still not right, and I'm hoping that the bike fit tomorrow can answer some questions there.

Thanks!!
